Professional Management Consultants Association (PMCA) was established in 1987 by members of the NSCHBC to provide liability protection for accountants and consultants to healthcare professionals. The organization established and originally owned a captive insurance company run by NSCHBC members.
Over time the needs of the PMCA Group expanded and we found that transferring our risks to another carrier would best suit the needs of our members. Today, working through our partner managing general agent, our group is primarily insured through Lloyd’s of London which is perhaps the best known and most respected insurance organization in the world. In addition to Lloyd’s of London, we work with other top leading carriers.
We continue to analyze the risks and coverage requirements of our members and will respond to any changes to continue to serve as the best option available to healthcare accountants and consultants and many other professionals.
